Our elementary schools rewarded top @TBABooks readers with a bash! Themed activities and crafts, and pizza for lunch. We love when students learn about all the great books out there and challenge themselves to read more. #avcato

Busy week in the #avcato library! In PreK we studied reptiles. in Kinder we reviewed story sequence. In 1st we thought about food chains, and in 2nd we observed how environment changes animal behavior (hibernation). Gotta love the learning! @CISDReads

I love helping with poetry! It was fun to see how enthusiastic they were to begin writing, and expressing their knowledge about science in different ways.

We have RAFT activities in Science and poetry is a choice to write. My students were struggling so @WaserLibrarian came to help us better understand. Plus we get to enter the big poetry contest. The kids had the best time writing science poetry today!
