An unpopular opinion, from someone who audited cross-chain systems for a living: most of what the industry calls "trustless" is just trust that's been moved somewhere you're not looking.
A relayer you have to believe. A multisig you hope stays honest. A wrapped token that's only worth something as long as its custodian is. We got very good at hiding the trust assumption behind clean marketing, and very bad at removing it. Every audit I did came down to the same question the pitch deck never answered: who can take the money, and what stops them?
For institutional capital, that question isn't academic. It's the whole thing. A bank moving tokenized Treasuries onto Canton did it to escape exactly this kind of exposure. Asking them to cross a trusted bridge to reach public liquidity is asking them to give back the one property they came for.
That's the gap I've been building @cancore_io to close.
8 months down: Mainnet operational since April 2026. ~$30M in volume
~70,000 swaps
~250 pairs
Settlement between @cantonnetwork and public chains, where the honest answer to "who can take the money" is: no one. Not the venue, not a relayer, not us. The contract releases both sides together or neither, and it's enforced on-chain, not promised in a blog post.
Cancore is the liquidity layer for tokenized finance.
Connecting @CantonNetwork to global onchain markets – with self-custody, swaps, intelligent execution and automation built into one platform.
A few months into mainnet, the momentum speaks for itself.
And this is only the beginning.
Pakistan to impose a 10%-30% capital gain tax on crypto profits on request of IMF.
Taxable profit threshold is Rs0.5m annually to fall under the tax bracket.
Final proposal and approval will be done in upcoming Budget.
✨Happy New Year from BlockApex!✨
2026 is here - and so is the next phase of Web3.
As builders continue to push boundaries, security, resilience, and trust will remain the foundation of everything we ship on-chain.
Here’s to a year of safer smart contracts, stronger ecosystems, and real innovation in Web3. 🚀
#HappyNewYear #Web3 #BlockchainSecurity #BlockApex
2025 was about proving what BlockApex is capable of.
2026 is about raising the bar.
• $850M+ TVL secured
• 7+ chains audited
• 350+ findings across 33 projects
• Top 5 finishes on @cantinaxyz & @code4rena
• Internal tools built for next-gen audits
Web3 security isn’t slowing down, and neither are we🔥

Presenting Bulwark: Pre-audits for @solana codebases.
@SamuelXeus I know someone who can ship at lightning speed. Presenting the UI for @_Bulwark , our submission for @colosseum's Cypherpunk 2025.

This is also for devs, who need pre-audit sanity checks performed on their codebases.
Q: Would our target businesses pay $200 for a 6 month subscription, for everything plus our future offerings (including actual in-depth vulnerability detection like @zellic_io 's V12)?
@_Bulwark : a scoping engine for @solana (Rust) smart contracts that helps identify code complexity, audit effort units (time/resources/cost) and potential security hotspots.
This is for security researchers/auditors who participate in competitions. Easier honeypot detection? ☑️
At BlockApex, we’ve always believed that security isn’t just about finishing an audit; it’s about building trust that scales.
That’s why we put together the BlockApex Audit Dashboard: 👉https://t.co/J2q6VjXPsF
It’s not just a portfolio of audits, it’s a way to actually see the kind of impact security work makes:
1) Ecosystems Covered: From EVM to Solana, Cosmos to NEAR, you’ll see how wide our work spans
2) Code Reviewed: More than half a million lines of code audited (and counting)
3) Findings by Severity: A clear breakdown of critical, high, medium, and low vulnerabilities
4) Impact in Numbers: Every bug fixed means a safer experience for users, builders, and investors
And here’s what makes it really useful:
🔍 You can click into issues and read their descriptions right on the dashboard
📁 By searching project categories, you can check what kinds of vulnerabilities typically show up in projects like the one you’re building
📚 All of this is open knowledge, and if you need to dig deeper, our auditors are here to help
Most people treat “audit complete” as the finish line. We see it as where the real work begins.
Our goal is simple: open up the black box of audits and make security measurable, comparable, and transparent.
For founders, devs, and investors, this isn’t just a list of past work; it’s a living dataset showing how Web3 security is evolving, one audit at a time.
