I spent my first day of Ramadan in the Rohingya camps in Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh, with Mr Bilal Erdogan. We saw some incredible work being done at a field hospital, school, and vocational training centre, all thanks to TIKA and Diyanet Vakfi. But, we can do more for our Rohingya brothers and sisters. Let's come together and make a difference!
Thank you very much for your kind words and support. I wish you and your family well and insha’Allah we will meet another time on another wonderful occasion. 🤲🏽🤲🏽❤️
Warmest congratulations on your 25th anniversary @AwakeningRec. Reaching a quarter-century of inspiring music, uplifting communities and shaping countless lives is a remarkable achievement. Your creativity, commitment, and excellence over the years have clearly left an impressive legacy.
I want to thank the organizers of the commemorative dinner in London for kindly inviting me. I was deeply disappointed not to attend, a sudden emergency at the very last minute prevented my presence.
Please accept my sincere apologies and gratitude for the invitation and the effort that went into marking this important milestone. Best wishes bro @WassimMalak 👏🏾👏🏾
Malcolm X was immortalized in Spike Lee's biographical movie in 1992. The filmmaker told Newsweek why the life and message of the civil rights leader still resonates on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
Honoured to have hosted Dr Zulfiqar Ali Shah to discuss his book “Islam & The English Enlightenment, the untold story”
Thanking @claritasbooks for publishing this much needed book!
Looking forward to reading it 📖
As a UN Independent Expert, I am deeply concerned by the stance #Germany is taking on Israel/Palestine, and its dangerous implications and consequences. Minister #Baerbock should be invited to provide the evidence of what she claims, and then explain how "civilian objects losing protected status" justify the massacres Israel is committing in Gaza and elsewhere.
Has Germany decided to stand with a State that is committing international crimes, it is a political choice, but it has also legal implications. May justice prevail where politics abhorrently failed.
The suffering we see in the Ummah weighs heavily on our hearts, but faith in Allah's promise and commitment to good offers comfort:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, those who faced no trials will wish their skins had been cut with scissors when they see the reward given to the afflicted."
And he ﷺ said,
"Draw near and be steadfast, for whatever befalls a Muslim is expiation, even a thorn that pricks or a small injury,"
Today is #Srebrenica Memorial Day which marks the 29th anniversary of the Bosnian genocide in which over 8,000 Muslim men and boys were murdered in the space of just a few days and dumped in mass graves. To this day, a significant number of the victims' remains are still missing.
Babamız Ali Osman Doğan’ın hakkın rahmetine kavuşması sonrasında taziye dilekleri ve dualarıyla manevi desteklerini esirgemeyen tüm dostlarımıza ve kardeşlerimize şahsım ve ailemiz adına kalbî teşekkürlerimizi arz ediyorum. 🤲🏻
We remember the youngest victims of besieged Sarajevo - 1601 of them were killed in aggressor attacks on the capital. From Serb positions, 53 were killed by snipers, and more than 14 thousand were wounded.
During the 1425 days of the siege of Sarajevo, they were systematically targeted by snipers. Playgrounds, public areas, streets, parks - were places where their childhood was forever interrupted.
Remember them!
O Allah, the nation of Muhammad is facing trials and tribulations, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
اللهم إن أمة محمد ﷺ قد مسَّها الضرُّ وأنت أرحم الراحمين.
