The lock the door example i chose was intentional because when I was a kid in New Hampshire in the 2000s you didn't have to at all. It was a real state of being that actually existed.
@_kruptos I have a question. What would a non-utopian form of "I want things to be like this" look like. It's easy at a granular level (I don't want to feel like I need to lock my door at night) but what about at a less granular level.
@vicedets "I've been to 23 countries and last month I spontaneously went on a trip to Spain!. Here is a picture of my skydiving aren't I adventurous"
Job: Barista at Dunkin Donuts
@NojmeArt@giantgio I never really understood why SFO had any audience at all talk about someone with absolutely nothing interesting to say other than being Sargon's LeFou.
@_7homas777@YouTube For a while I thought I hated old people before I realized that I hated the same people I hated when I was a kid who were middle aged at the time.
@JDVance It would be much easier to be excited about this if you would take harsh action on the immigration situation. You are doing better than any admin in my lifetime but the situation is horrific and it's not enough.
@ChandlerForPB I am really sick of this tepid response from the TA on this topic. I get that can't just get rid of the law but they can deny all H1Bs and cancel existing ones. This is a system issue not a "few bad apples" one.
@Memphissippi6 This is one of the big issue I have with people who are too into other nations RW aesthetics. I don't admonish them because its faggoty but I want an AMERICAN aesthetic. Whatever it is it needs to scream American without being a consumerist caricature.
@MillennialWoes The 90s were definitely better than now despite somethings that sucked. I kind of prefer now to the 2010s. That decade was ten years of being told you were insane for noticing the decline in every part of culture.
@GreeneMan6 Smart phones taking the internet from being a place that you went to being omnipresent was a complete disaster for both real life and the internet.
@Maarblek On some level the best outcome would be always getting knocked out as early as possible just to show that really the US does not care about this sport. Winning is fun and all but every time I watch Soccer I can't help but think its deeply unamerican.
@ChandlerForPB Saying they aren't having kids is a fair point against what I said. An incentive that only benefits 'your' guys is definitely something worth having, a benefit that helps not your guys is worse than wasted money.
