@woomless Also the screenshot on Japan's statistics don't include what counts as a "Child". England's statistics outline what type of crime and what demographic is affected. Japan's stats just say "Child abuse" which is a term that can be either insanely broad or insanely thin in meaning.

Fun fact. Not only does the link on the image lead nowhere but all of the statistics are taken from before 2015. Do you know what happened around that time? Japan made their laws regarding rape, SA and child abuse stricter and broader which skyrocketed all of those statistics.

If there's one thing I've learned in the last year

Its that a lot of Creators and random people are grown adults still acting like they are in Highschool

Covid helped this happen because many people did not get a proper education in their last few years

This is a common issue with using crime statistics as a blanket statement. Many countries have different legal definitions for criminal acts and behavior. A country where rape is theoretically legal would have no rape statistics. Doesn't mean rape doesn't happen in said country.

And report these crimes. What it did is make the crime rates regarding these crimes sky rocket in statistics because suddenly a lot of behavior that was very obviously sexual assault or child sexual assault was now legally included in the definition when it wasn't before.

The reason why capitalists constantly argue against the government isn't because it's bad for the people, it's because that government is actively stopping them from turning america into a megacorp monopoly with no worker rights and regulations.
