@ARGOP This kind of messaging is exactly why I turned down running with the @ARGOP. This campaign emphasizes collaboration > isolation. Y’all sure are happy to have me at your Lincoln Day dinners and state committee meetings. Did you know I was Sen. Stubblefield’s proxy? Weird mask.
Parade season thought: The goal is manage your tax dollars better than I do budgeting the amount of candy I throw out.
10 lbs. doesn’t go nearly as far as it sounds like it would.
Finally sat down with @Colt_Shelby and the rest of the Rough Riders for a podcast episode. Appreciate the invite and the chat, looking forward the release.
Ballot update: We hit the signature goal earlier this week. While I’ve been traveling for LeadAR, volunteers have been busy collecting excess signatures. We’ll fill up some more pages this weekend and turn in Monday so there’s a buffer if we need to cure anything.
@jazzmaar We don’t have a crisis that can be solved by throwing a billion dollars at a bad project, but there are issues that need solving. The idea is to present an approach that’s more sensible than “build beds and screw rural folks.”
As many as we can! The official number is quite low but we need a couple times more than the requirement to feel safe about any that may be invalid.
Any voter registered in SD26 may sign.
@LAKingsTalk1199@DrewSav@SarahHuckabee There’s an argument that it is, but I’d rather just get it done than fighting it. We’ll cross that bridge if/when it presents an issue.
@SarahHuckabee’s updated special election proclamation, buried in a Sunday evening press release, reduced the timeframe for independent signature collection from 90 to 10 days. And the clock started today.
Here we go.
Living "out here" isn't just a campaign talking point, it's our way of life. I take pride in the hard work it takes to sustain this lifestyle. Whether that's getting farm chores done, running a small business, wrangling a toddler, or fighting for you in Little Rock, there's always work to be done and I'm always ready to do it.
A consistent refrain: Independent doesn’t mean isolation, it means collaboration.
We had a great time at the Yell County Republican Committee’s Lincoln Day Dinner this evening. Thanks to all who had a hand in putting it on and for the warm welcome from my Republican colleagues.
@Colt_Shelby That’s all I’m saying—there’s an opportunity for a win-win. If it’s what the people what, build a smart, fair system. Don’t copy CA/WA regs like most states do, and don’t make it a free for all like OK did.
Build good policy, get good, safe, profitable results.
What’s the pulse from the people on this issue right now? Are the majority still in favor and having a hard time understanding why we kowtow to booze lobbies and regulate cannabis into oblivion to benefit like 3 corporations?
