Massively proud of our collaboration with Comic Relief which included the BBC film showcasing the rap work of our young people, a workshop at 10 Downing Street, lesson plans for Red Nose Day & culminating in this, the winning Comic Relief rap, performed by Louie LeVack!
Fantastic Rap workshops today with @LouieLeVack and @WavesMT. @OGCollege students are doing a collaborative project with @DurringtonHigh students. They came up with amazing verses ready to share at the Artsathon!
These 4 awesome young people chose to donate instruments to Waves Music Therapy ๐
Because of them, other young people can access great quality instruments in their music sessions with Waves.

Awesome to be part of @AspensCharities Aspens Fest '24 yesterday, talking to families about music therapy and running our popular spoken word workshop. Fantastic writing, freestyling, and performing by the children. Track currently being mixed and mastered - coming soon!
Tonight I'll be on @bbcone to support @comicrelief! I am a big supporter of the cause and would love for all of you to tune in! I'll be trying to get the incredible and irreplaceable Sir @lennyhenry's job, so pressure is on! #iplayer#comicrelief#bbc#bbcone
@headcherrytree What an incredible group of young people, we are SO proud of the work that they did today, amazing rapping with Ed! Well done everyone, it was pure joy to meet you all and shout out to your brilliant teachers for really getting stuck in ๐
Then over to Downing Street to deliver our @comicrelief rap workshop with the amazing Ed @gramskionthemic. An opportunity to speak about the mental health crisis we witness in schools and demonstrate the power of music making with 34 children was incredible.
We are still processing a huge day yesterday for Waves Music Therapy. A day that began with a live interview with @BBCSussex answering all the tough questions at 7am, like 'how do we know music therapy works?' Which I hope I answered. Thanks for the chance to discuss our work
