I’ve found myself now paying $9 to run downtown to an obscure, hard to reach by train, location that would take 50 mins ea way WITHIN Manhattan

Then returning to UWS to park and take a train to appts in midtown. Which would be fine, if I wasn’t the only sucker paying for the train. Getting banged out $3 ea ride while ppl next to me, professionally leap over turnstiles

I would be less incensed by congestion pricing if the @MTA even pretended to care about the loss of revenue from fare evaders

But no. l will get charged to drive in my own community, and be expected to swipe for subway like an obedient little, “personal bank of MTA” funding simp

LA's $750,000-a-year water chief who allegedly oversaw the emptying of the Santa Ynez Reservoir, previously said the "number one" thing she cared about in her role was "equity."

During a recent podcast, Janisse Quiñones, who was hired by Mayor Karen Bass in May, said that everything she does needs to be done with an "equity lens."

The Daily Mail now reports that since Quiñones was hired at LADWP, she took the reservoir offline to "repair a tear" and ignored broken fire hydrants.
