Switched from femoral catheter to a tunneled jugular catheter for my brother’s dialysis. The former is infectious, at 35k/week while the jugular tunnel is safer, less risky, economical long-term & improves blood flow. Every choice in this journey matters. **1.4m/15m Thanks you 🙏

Giving the cost a sec 😪, dialysis requires multiple blood transfusions to keep him stable as it drains blood levels. A kind-hearted colleague and I donated blood, but still more demanding.

The doctor at the clinic ran more tests and made a shocking discovery: his urea and creatinine ((952.3/120)) levels were rising dangerously. This wasn't just malaria, it was kidney failure. We were immediately referred to the university hospital for urgent care (2/)
