Barcelona’s City Council officially voted to sever institutional ties with the Israeli government and suspend its longstanding friendship agreement with Tel Aviv. This decision was made in response to Israel’s actions in Gaza, which the council deemed violations of international law and the rights of Palestinians.

The resolution calls for an end to all official relations with Israel “until respect for international law” and the “basic rights of the Palestinian people” are restored. Oct 7 didn’t happen in a vacuum. Since 1947, Haganah, Irgun, Lehi, and now the IDF have all killed and displaced Palestinian civilians. If you think Oct 7 justifies this extent of retaliation, you’re ignoring decades of dispossession and violence.

Every civilian death, Jewish or Palestinian, is a tragedy. So if you truly believe Israel’s recent actions aren't just more of the same, albeit hugely escalated brutality, back it up with facts and context.

I'm not interested in being tagged in 'trust me bro' pro Israeli sources but in actual verifiable evidence from reputable sources.

@searchfeast I have a genuine question for you. What type, quantity and source of evidence would you need to change your views?

Former and current Israeli gov officials, IGOs, Jews, Christians, charities, health workers, IDF soldiers and much much more have all attested to what is happening via official statements, photos, docs, videos etc.

With the copious amounts of evidence readily available, at some point you surely must at least consider the possibility that you’re wrong and Israel has and is committing war crimes?
