As a matter of facts, Wizkid is not Top 20 most loved artist in Nigeria.
Only Wizkid fans love him. The industry don’t love him. They respect him because no one has been able to come close to his Stardom

1. I have never seen where Wizkid achievement is placed at a high pedestal or even looked at as a Great great feat.. Even if wizkid wins 7 Grammys in one night, the only hype and congratulations he will get is from FC. But let Davido win one or burna win another 😂😂🫵🏽

2. See how every wizkid dexterity is dismissed apart from people who love music like Asa etc. you will never see industry folks talk about his prowess whether its vocals, melody etc.

Another person who isn’t loved is Burna boy but the reason his issues escalate is because he does these stupid things that makes his haters have reasons to hate.

People do not understand how insane that is, Wizkid was already on MI’ album Fast Money, Fast Cars in 2008, and since then he was competing with the OGs he blew up immediately he dropped his first single and his first Intl award was in 2012.

His first European tour was 2013/14, and people still want more from him, he dropped the best selling album super star in CD era, & recreated it with Made in Lagos in streaming Era, none of your current big 3 was bigger then and now.

Wizkid was the one who carried Afrobeats to where it is, in streaming Era he’s still competing, that’s longevity over 18yrs in the game…
