@NickInNC@CaseyMattox_ There is a way: some countries segregate bags that were loaded from domestic connections versus international ones, and have you collect in different areas at your final destination.
@cszabla Americans don't care about the quality of soccer pitches whatsoever. To the extent that they have an opinion on turfs, it's hating the many bad (generally artificial) turfs in the NFL that cause injuries. So not really the same.
@dogshit95@PetreRaleigh Buffalo is a very unique situation where the lake effect snow can produce a ton of snow which shuts down a relatively small band, and it's still rare for things to be shut down for more than a day before plows clear things.
@patio11 There's a interesting similar concern for hospitals and medical records.
In the short/medium term, having good records is very important for care.
In the long term, if someone isn't likely to be a patient again, it's a HIPAA breach waiting to happen and they'd prefer to delete
@bigpicsoccer@thatchthoughts This stat is "which sport is your absolute favorite". There's tons of people who say football or basketball, but also follow baseball/hockey. Overall interest in terms of following at all, soccer is in a distant last place nationally.
@doyle9311@the_transit_guy It was planned on an existing rail line previously used for freight. The track itself needed to be updated, but that's what the federal money was for. They didn't need to acquire a net new right of way between the two, which I agree would have been prohibitively expensive.
@Grime69420@JonathanWieser@VNABEEFVP@the_transit_guy If your premise had been: people don't know the size of cities in Wisconsin, and have heard of Milwaukee and Green Bay, then sure.
But you're in here arguing that Green Bay is actually really close in size to Madison, which is incredibly stupid
@doyle9311@the_transit_guy The governor killed plans to build a rail line in 2009, after being awarded 810 million from the feds, and purchasing trains. They had to sell the trains to Nigeria.
@HannesDeVierde@Dani6CBP__ They did change their name. The larger issue is trying to put an umlaut in their name. More people use Czechia than Türkiye even though that was only a change to the informal name.
@LogicRules55@MPNomad6@FrizzellH@ReichlinMelnick It's literally in the article if you read it.
Of course, she didn't actually vote until 11 years later after a government employee told her she could, so I don't really think it's that relevant.
@pigeontisms@BackyardMarty Genuinely good practice, it's relatively simple to copy a key via a photo with the right equipment, especially a close up like this
@SafeSidewalksDC@johnpelwood You can click through and read the full opinion.
He said that he should have had to pay $50 for up to 10 over rather than $100 for 11-15. But he asked the court to dismiss the ticket entirely since they only wanted to charge him for 11 over which the court agreed to.
