On May 16, 2026, we hosted our second Waters of Inspiration event at the Peekskill Waterfront and Depew Park.
Participants enjoyed Hudson River views, heard from watershed experts, and created watercolor art using water from Park Brook stream.

On April 24, planning staff toured Grand Central Terminal with Assistant Station Master John Weyhausen, learning about the station’s history, architecture, and role in modern transportation infrastructure. 🗽🚊
On May 6, the Department of Planning participated in HUD’s 2026 All-Grantee Meeting. Aimee Morabito presented on the Carver Center parking lot rehabilitation project funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
