URGENT: There will be no school in Williamson County Schools on Friday, January 30, 2026. The School Age Child Care program will be open at all inclement weather sites - except for Fairview - on both Thursday, January 29 and Friday, January 30.
URGENT: Due to below‑freezing temperatures, widespread power outages, and hazardous road conditions, WCS will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 28, and Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026. School Age Child Care is also closed. Twelve‑month employees should follow snow day protocol.
Williamson County Warming Shelters Open — Travel Only if Necessary
Warming shelters are now open at Fairview High School and Franklin High School for residents who do not have a safe, warm place to stay.
⚠️ Road conditions are hazardous. Please stay in your home unless you do not have safe heating options, or reach out to friends or family members if available. If you must travel to a shelter, use extreme caution, avoid unsafe roads, and arrange safe transportation if possible.
