@TrueGamer1111 Sony doesn't have the first party support that they did with PS4 and they're not going to get any better.
With 5-7 year development cycles and games all made for the alphabet crowd, you're defending a sinking ship.
@Grummz I haven't seen the video and I don't plan to. That being said, game companies need to remember a basic fact:
Show the gameplay. Shut down all the other useless nonsense and quit the preachy virtual-signaling, because if your game flops - this is what gets remembered.
@TheGameVerse If I was a new game studio, I'd avoid exclusivity deals on console like the plague.
Square Enix went multiplatform. Sony and Xbox want to maximize their profits, but it's been at the expense of just about everyone else.
I see less tolerance to that arrangement next gen.
@pcgamer It is stunning how much people are in denial about Sony's bad decisions. Closed ecosystems for over $1000? That is going extinct.
It might make sense financially, but PS6 is already DOA.
Real ones recognize what this really is and are going to be on PC/Steam.
@Pirat_Nation Same reason I haven't bought Ghost of Yotei. I'm not funding this kind of nonsense and I'll get it used on deep discount. Devs need to start understanding that ideology/DEI = layoffs.
@Halo This is the template for what works. Study it and burn it into your soul.
You've got a soldier and a cyberpunk right here, but you're trying to reinvent the wheel.
@DashAttackVT I don't understand why game devs have had the perfect template for a "badass" woman, but they take shortcuts and don't put in any effort to develop their narrative.
The Boss earned the right to be respected, because the devs put in the work. They respected her.
