Working in education is hard. To be honest, everyday life can be pretty hard at the minute.
It’s time to do something about it.
Welcome to the Educators Running Club, or ERC to our friends. That includes you, by the way.
It’s been a hot day and when you go for a run, gentle or not, it get hotter. Nevertheless, always good to do as long as you stay hydrated and is you have a head of hair like me… wear a hat. Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers
Jobs done in the main. Afternoon run complete. Now time for a little food and rest before an early night for an early get up to sleep again before getting up for work. Anyway… Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers
No photos. No records (maybe slowest). No regrets. Felt weak early and didn’t do the distance but, do you know what I did do…? Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers Maybe Now and again I should listen to my body. Huh? What? Did you hear something?
Monday evening run after a busy day. Sometimes you start the run and don’t feel great, but as you get into it, you’re running and feeling the benefits. Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers
A morning run in the breeze. A slow and gentle one - beautiful start to the day and a beautiful day to run. Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers
It’s certainly warm out there but not too hot for a run. A gentle pace, pre-run water and the run clothing. The breeze helps and made it enjoyable. Always feel better after a run. Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers
Started the day with a gentle run. There are always reasons that tempt you not to lace up and go but when you do, it feels good. No excuses, do what makes you feel good - Get out there and run. #running@WeAreERC#ItsTheOthers
Seemed madness at 8.30 this morning doing the #eastbournetempo10k, and it was a challenge, but good to shake the shackles off after what’s been a really tough week. With the sea like a millpond to the side…

On the weekend just gone, I completed my hardest running challenge to date. 104 miles from Studland in Dorset to Exmouth in Devon. Hills and heat made it a real challenge. Hit the cut offs with minutes to spare but completed. Very pleased!
