White Pine 8th grade Educators of Tomorrow would like to thank the White Pine Parent Council and Members First Credit Union for their purchase of March Madness books for White Pine! Students participated in a book battle bracket and enjoyed their elimination tournament!
We are proud of our newest Board of Education member, Sharon Norman, who was named a 2026 Children's Trust Michigan Inspire Award recipient! Sharon is the CAN Council of Saginaw's Director of Prevention.
Don't forget that the last day of school on Fri., May 29 is a HALF day. Heritage will be released at 11:00am, Arrowwood, Weiss, and Hemmeter students will be dismissed at 10:45am. Sherwood and Westdale students will be released at 10:55am and White Pine will dismiss at 12:05pm.
Miss Jones' 1st grade class at Sherwood Elementary was transformed into a campground! Students spent time under their tents engaging in campsite festivities, sharing stories around the campfire, enjoying the fresh air, and making unforgettable memories with friends.

In partnership with Heritage High School, the Saginaw Township Recreation Department is hosting a Jr. Hawks Football League! This is a feeder program for Saginaw Township Community Schools' athletic program. Early registration by May 25th.
Arrowwood Elementary proudly welcomed back graduating seniors for one last walk through the halls where their journey began. As current Arrowwood students lined the hallways with cheers, smiles, and high-fives, our graduates were “clapped out” and wished well!
We celebrate the incredible students who walked our hallways, represented our schools with pride, and grew into the graduates we honor today. From your first day getting onto the bus by yourself, to your final walk across the graduation stage, we will always be cheering for you.
Members of the Heritage Class of 2027 spent their Saturday morning volunteering at the Grit Your Grief 5K Color Run! From cheering on runners to spreading smiles and laughter along the course, our students were proud to give back and support the community.
STCS was proud to celebrate our district BLOCK (Benevolent Leaders of Creativity and Knowledge) Award winners! Congratulations to our Special Education teachers who were recognized for their creativity & dedication to enhancing learning for students through their BLOCK grants!
The Saginaw Twp. Police Dept. honored STCS art teacher Lindsay Brown with the Unity in Service award for her volunteer work during the summer! Ms. Brown coordinates Heritage students to volunteer & provide face painting for children during a Pop Up Picnic and National Night Out!
STCS students were honored at the Saginaw ISD Turnaround Achievement Award ceremony! They demonstrated a significant turnaround in their academics throughout the year. Congratulations!
