Occasionally, someone wants to arbitrarily dismiss our advice because we make a living in the real estate industry as an agent, a mortgage professional, a broker/owner or an analyst.
If a financial component is automatic grounds for not trusting someone’s guidance, realize we should no longer listen to:
1.) The NYT, the WSJ and every other national and local newspaper
2.) Every program on cable and local television
3.) Every program on radio
4.) Every podcaster
5.) Every blogger
6.) Every YouTuber
7.) Your local pastor
…and every other source of information I didn’t mention.
I know that’s ridiculous. But, not as ridiculous as a person dismissing a point of view they disagree with by casting aspersions on a person’s character instead of presenting their counterpoint intelligently. Instead some believe it is a good idea to demean, diminish and dismiss all who disagree with them.
I have no problem when someone disagrees with me. I make my point and listen to theirs. Quite often, they have helped me adjust my thoughts on certain assumptions I had erroneously made. I hope I have also helped some better understand the current housing market.
Let’s not allow naysayers to stop us from spreading the correct narrative about today’s housing market.
Just saying…
Seeing haze around the #Phoenix Valley this morning? It's not smoke; it's dust! A large outflow from a complex of thunderstorms in Mexico moved into the area overnight into this morning. #azwx
