What an incredible week!

Over the past 3 days, I had the chance to attend 4 amazing events that brought the Arc ecosystem together in Istanbul.

It was a pleasure to listen to @jerallaire share his vision for the next era of the internet. That vision gave all of us even more confidence that we’ll build something truly impactful in Türkiye.

A huge thank you to my friend @ezgiyaltay for making all of this happen, and to @TxnSheng , @hj_chen , and Chinthaka Perera for traveling all the way here to share the Circle and Arc vision with our community.

It is only getting started. It really feels like something big is coming.

🔐 What is Proof of Authority (PoA)?
In a PoA network, blocks are not produced by miners or stakers. Instead, they are created by a predefined set of validators whose identities are known and verified.

Key requirements:
• A minimum number of validators must be active in the network (e.g., 4+ validators).
• Validators are selected and approved by the network authorities.
• Validators must maintain a strong reputation and follow network rules.
• Validators are expected to stay online and participate honestly in consensus.

How it works:
1. Known validators are placed in a predefined order.
2. The validator whose turn has arrived produces the next block.
3. Other validators verify the block.
4. Once validated, the block is added to the blockchain.

PoA achieves high throughput and low latency by relying on trusted validators rather than computational power or staking capital.

PS: @arc uses PoA to deliver fast finality, efficient transactions, and a smooth developer experience.
