That said, things can shift fast. The hype cycles flip quickly in tech. A few key standards could revive WebAR. If #Apple enabled #ImmersiveAR mode for #WebXR on iOS, or if HMD manufacturers gave the web a real place in their ecosystems, it could get the momentum it deserves.
