You don’t need to have bursitis to benefit from a corticosteroid bursal injection for shoulder pain! 🤔 https://t.co/OUGZCmQW0r

Take note....dont miss the foundations of rehab exercises before moving to more compound movements. Your prone to fail if you dont lay down your foundations #physio #rehab #conditioning #sport

🤯90% of ACL ruptures healed WITHOUT surgery🤯

These are outstanding preliminary results from the 12 week Cross Brace Method Trial from Australia!!!

This could be a game changer for ACL management! 😍

Thanks @mickwhughes for sharing!

@Stalksie Maybe suggest to the parents to gain a private MRI to confirm diagnosis (there’s cheaper options out there), as you’ll need this to educate the pt with physio anyway.
Then call the Dr and highlight they need to review there adolescent back injury knowledge

@CarltonCole1 it’s all about the Topic with a coffee…many times had in West Ham treatment room

[Peter Webb @Webb_Physio]

@mickwhughes I see this so much Mick, think there’s 2 problems…1. confusing research that says NO open chain exercises with ACLR rehab. 2. Therapists want to do the sexy compound movements instead of isolation exercises. Isolation lays the foundation people for dynamic movements

I like to think I am evidenced based but this research doesn't change how I practice. For 25 years my bias has been heavy loads for almost everything :)

I know the conclusions say we have options but I still don't go there

#FIFAMedicalSetPiece Regardless of where a player requires medical attention, having a framework that can be applied in the same way each time will help to ensure best outcomes. This can, and should, be considered as the medical version of a “set piece” @FIFAMedical

[Peter Webb @Webb_Physio]

@DrJN_SportsMed Totally agree with you…what’s your thoughts on surgery for the cyst? Considering it will affect foot mechanics
