Through our incredible partnership with Fighting Island, WECDSB students are participating in a program that goes so much farther than a standard science lesson. As Catholics, we are called to be active stewards of God’s creation. While learning to respect and protect the environment, our students are also discovering deeper life lessons in gratitude, responsibility, and service that they can bring right back home to their own communities.
Watch this video to see how our students are growing, learning, and putting their faith into action.

Catholic Central High School proudly presented a cheque for $2,000 to the Youth Wellness Hub today, with all proceeds raised directly by our incredible students. This donation was made possible thanks to the school's inaugural Light Up the Night Mental Health Walk, which took place on May 8. Serving as the grand finale to an inspiring Catholic Education Week, the event brought together 200 students in a powerful display of solidarity, resilience, and community spirit. Students lined the sidewalks with chalk-drawn messages of hope and walked to the beat of uplifting music, around the CCH track, symbolizing their shared journey toward wellness.
