As part of their studies on rainforest ecosystems, pupils had the exciting opportunity to meet & learn about a variety of ranimals up close 🌳

'Aparrotly' it's World Parrot Day and I couldn't let it pass without celebrating my little parrot pals, Kiki-Dee, Coco and Kiwi the Jenday conures. My little feathered friends play an important role as ambassador animals and help me to deliver a range of curriculum-based topics.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending Eco-School's green flag assessor training. I can’t wait to put the training into practice at schools across our incredible wee country.

This week Prep 4 pupils enjoyed a Marvellous Minibeasts workshop with @WeeCrittersNI. They met Arthur the armadillo, William Snakespeare, along with Cora and her boyfriend Christopher Walkingstick the stick insects. 🕷️🐍
