You know what issue Ag doesn’t talk about enough, quality labor.
I can’t find any. I live 30 mins north of a million people, no one wants to do manual work. Even for cold hard cash.
Funny thing, my best help comes from farm kids with less acres eager to earn more money.
The part of farming I enjoy the most is giving the youngsters a shot. I sit here waiting to load seed while they all drive something:
18 year old is driving semi tending
22 year old is planting corn
8 year old is doing laps in the hay field with the garden tractor
SNAP to include HOT ROTISSERIE CHICKEN.
384-35!
Doesn’t only include my crew’s favorite + affordable $4.99 Costco rotisserie 😜 — but ANY hot rotisserie.
Feeding families: a (rotisserie) chicken in every pot. 🇺🇸
The bush fix I came up with to get running again. 9 replacement parts in all of US, dealers who have them won’t let them go. @JohnDeere won’t escalate the issue when my dealership has 3 8Rs in the same situation. No help or support to resolve this since Wednesday.
@Kyle03062834131 @5150Farms@JohnDeere I just can’t wrap my head around how much we spend in parts, service, equipment purchases, etc and how poor of customer service @JohnDeere provides for the money spent
@Kyle03062834131 @5150Farms@JohnDeere Valid question, if I had any decent dealer support I could’ve maybe got an answer to that. It’s sort of laughable the parts and service issues we encounter here.
@Kyle03062834131 @5150Farms@JohnDeere No smart ass comment, the DTAC actually specs out a hose that doesn’t fit because there is a solenoid in the way of the fittings (wtf?!), I had to spec out my own hose.
Also, local Deere dealer can’t make 5000psi hoses, had to go 70 miles to get hoses made that would fit.
@FarmerRyanLee@JohnDeere@Case_IH Our deal was a steel line blew under the tractor frame. Main line. @JohnDeere has no replacement, they are preventing any escalation for a repair part, and dealers holding the part aren’t willing to let them go. I’m ready to borrow one off a used machine on a lot
@FarmerRyanLee@JohnDeere I love how they gatekeep the reps. They don’t care if you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars of years with them. I’m so done with Deere, I get fantastic support from @AGCOcorp
@UCBearcat92@JohnDeere And massive dealerships who have their stores competing against each other instead of customer service is one hell of a business model @AgProCo
