We harvested lettuce for the shelter’s kitchen, painted a mural thanks to the help of Perla Gallegos of Superlative Signs, and ended with a fantastic farm meal thanks to Mort & Betty’s Vegan Deli including a #Veterans Day cake!

It’s time for our corn harvest! How do you know when corn is ready to be harvested? The best time is about 2-3 weeks after the silk appears, turns brown and has dried out, says GrowGood Farm Manager Francis River. 🌱
