@fnandoR22 Romulus was significantly better than two of the three Alien movies Scott has directed, and better than anything I've seen from him since Gladiator lol
@LukeCB14 The Into the Light/Final Shape era was the best period of time I had with Destiny, and it's such a shame that Bungie let D2 down by immediately pivoting right to make it a longer way grind with way less content so they could make an incredibly niche extraction shooter.
@trulyyblu This is why I won't buy another Bungie game. They outright lied about Marathon not impact D2. The reviled changes EoF were added only to allow longer grinding in less content, and showed that Destiny was no longer a priority. Finally eroded the last of my goodwill.
@LukeCB14 Instead of trying to engage the people who wanted to grind like it was their job, Bungie should've just done one massive expansion each year that'd keep us busy for 3-4 months. Could've reduced burnout and given us more actually great stuff instead of busywork and "content"
@MoxsyOG My biggest problem with BL4 (which I Platinumed) is that the grind through endgame isn't fun, and it's only gotten worse. UVH levels would've been fine if you could toggle them account-wide, but adding Mayhem levels in top is just grinding for the sake of it.
@Ki11ersix@GearboxOfficial Let people skip UHV and Mayhem grinding AFTER they've done it one character. Running it all once makes sense, but having to do it all again and again killed my interest in playing other characters.
@PaulTassi I remember nothing about Edge of Fate's campaign other than being annoyed by the overuse of matterball/spark and thinking that that dead 9 looked like a giant butthole in space.
@PaulTassi I'm not mad at Marathon, but at Bungie. They said making Marathon wouldn't affect Destiny and were clearly lying. As a fan who played Destiny for a decade only to watch it bleed resources and quality since Lightfall, I'm furious and will never buy another game from Bungie.
@DestinyTheGame Wow, so Destiny really did die for Marathon. I hope the people who made the decisions that led to this are never allowed to make decisions like this again.
