A new paper from our lab that is the first to report inhibition data against the alpha and gamma carbonic anhydrases from Enterococcus faecium is out today. Great job by @Weiwei_An_ and @Katrina_Holly98 for leading the way.

Uroob Haris (@UroobH) has won the Outstanding Poster Presentation award in the Colloid and Surface Chemistry Division at #ACSSpring2022 for her work "Patterned Chemical Functionalization of Surfaces with Visible Light Using a DLP Fluorescence Microscope"! Congratulations!
In @angew_chem , Husain and Chancellor report their unique chemiluminescent iridium complexes for near-infrared oxygen sensing. Congratulations and special thanks to our collaborators Jeni Gerberich and Prof. Ralph Mason! https://t.co/iTZljZA9m2
Last December, we got the first promising results for a project I’d been working on. Today, almost exactly one year later, I presented the research at an international conference. AND just last week, we heard that the paper has been accepted for publication! Feeling so blessed 🤲🏻
Congrats to Flaherty lab and @Purdue_MCMP grad student @molly_youse for receiving a @I3dPurdue training program fellowship! Great opportunity and look forward to seeing her grow as a scientist.
What a fun paper to work on! Part of what attracted me to this research group 4 years ago was the glowy, shiny chemistry. It has been awesome diving into how that science started and progressed to where it has when writing this paper. Do check it out! https://t.co/v9DpAHcajN

Let me be the first to congratulate Dr. Aaron Krabill (@AaronKrabill) on his successful defense of his PhD thesis. Aaron has earned his PhD from @Purdue_MCMP. He is the first student to earn a PhD from the lab and I am very thankful he chose to pursue his grad work in my lab.
