We have successfully grown potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, pumpkin and some beautiful sunflower and wildflowers this year.
All the pupils involved with the garden have worked really hard to nurture the crops from seed up to maturity.

We've really enjoyed the first season in the Hollow Nature garden. We have nurtured our flowers, harvested cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers.
The cucumbers have been enjoyed for snacks and the tomatoes & peppers were used to make delicious soup by the pupils and enjoyed by all!

Before summer pupils from The Hollow started a new gardening project.
The pupils worked extremely hard over the term.
We entered the Stratford in Bloom competition and received a Highly Commended certificate,

On Tuesday 11th students from Welcombe Hills performed at the RSC Playmaking Festival at The Other Place Theatre. They performed alongside students from other schools in a showcase of spellbinding Shakespeare performance. Thank you to everyone who supported our young people.

Today at Welcombe Hills we hosted the SENDActive Rowing competition. We had 3 schools compete and they all did incredible! Welcombe Hills School came 3rd, well done everyone!

In PE the sports coaches came in to work with Key Stage 3 on their Athletics skills. This is all in preparation for Sports Day that is coming up.
