I think the people of ITR department are sleeping in this country.
I will prove how:

I filed ITR for FY 2024-25, I had to pay the tax of 3580, which I paid , so all done.
Then again I got the notice to pay the same tax again, but I challenged the notice and added challan details

This year I filed ITR for FY 2025-26, had to get the refund of 9500 as I had paid more tax. God, to my surprise they are telling they want to adjust the refund against the pending tax of last FY.
I mean, if they dont even see my response why they have to even ask for a response
