There is a MODERATE risk of thunderstorms this evening, tonight and early tomorrow morning. Heavy rain of 10-25mm, small hail, strong winds reaching 90-110km guts per hour, along with the possibilities of small tornadoes.

HVL train update: The 110, 83 and 81 buses are accepting train passes due to the delays on the HVL.

BREAKING: Northbound Hutt Valley line Train services and all Melling line Train services are currently suspended due to a mechanical fault on one of the Hutt Valley line services. Southbound Hutt Valley line services will stop at all stations.
