@PanthersAnalyst I understand the concerns coming out of that Tennessee offense, but my gut tells me there’s just not many guys that moves this well at that size. Even if he’s the sacrificial deep route specialist, that seems valuable.
@JoshNorris Just saying, Bryce really thrived with big play receivers at Alabama that are built like and win in ways that Concepcion wins. Not really on the roster at the moment.
@thaRBW There seems to be some willful ignorance around Sadiq’s ability to be an every down big play threat. Whether that’s blocking, on the LOS or out of the backfield, or as a catch and run/downfield threat. He’s a 4.4 athlete that blocks his ass off. Worth it.
@JoshNorris It was always clear Bryce’s tools meant playing a certain style of offense, and the talent isn’t present around him to make up for the rookie mistakes and adjustments. He has to play perfect football for the offense to barely function.
@BillyM_91 Not a great 40 time, but the testing matches his play style. Great jumps with sudden movement, and knows how to use those long arms. Should be a fun red zone player.
@PanthersAnalyst Tillman really feels like a Reich type. Big and strong, but explosive and has some YAC. Could become a great receiver for slants, crossers, and downfield throws.
@TheSportzNutt Agreed. There’s something to be said for Bryce Young’s floor as an instinctual playmaker, but the upside of Stroud as an elite pocket passer is appealing too. Both can work on this roster — it’ll be about the structural and personality fit (I think they lean CJ).
@JRodNFLDraft I think it’s fair to say Fields is the top guy. Perhaps he lacks the natural accuracy and placement of Stroud, but he has a tremendously strong arm, was very accurate at OSU, and has top tier athleticism. As we saw in the second half of the season, Fields is an elite rusher.
In honor of #GodzillaDay I think it’s only right that I drop my passion project.
