🌳 Want to help shape the future of Wake County parks? Now is your chance.

The Eastern Regional Center in Zebulon will host a community meeting on June 11 for Wake County's 1—year roadmap for park spaces. The meeting will be between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM, drop in anytime!

🎆 Back with a boom! Our annual Fireworks Show returns this year on July 2 at Wendell Park. The park opens to spectators at 6 PM, with fireworks beginning around 9 PM. All vehicles must arrive via Landing View Drive.

Active sidewalk installation on East Third Street is underway! This project will link to our Lakewood Drive sidewalk project and connect the east side of Wendell to the future Carver Community Center.

June is National Hunger Awareness Month. Here locally, there will be an info station on food insecurity set up at Wendell Community Library on S. Hollybrook Road from 6 PM to 7 PM on June. 2.

Additional programs will be held in neighboring Knightdale (6/1) and Zebulon (6/5).
