@818industries Keep posting dude. My Local 58 vid got 50 views in a day and I was over the moon about it. Consistency matters but so does interacting with your comments, forming your interests around popular niches, and title/thumbnail are crucial at your stage. We're all gonna make it.

To give you an idea of how different the new system for view counts is now that any view counts regardless of duration, the old system is now labelled as "engaged views", meaning on this most recent upload, the new system shows more than double the old view count.

I’m not “putting down” someone for providing for their family, I’m putting down someone for furthering a soulless cycle human replacement. If you’re willing to let a data point create one aspect of your content, then none of your content matters. If a single part of the creation process feels arbitrary to you, then all of it is. You’re no different than the hundreds of companies peddling useless content for the sake of tech oligarchs. The only difference is you think you deserve to, that your life experience means it’s okay to insert just a *touch* of soullessness. You feel justified in the loss of what made you become a YouTuber in the first place and that makes you worse than them. The horse doesn’t have to be that high to look into the mud. You clearly wrote that line spaced response to me with AI, if you don’t think anything you have to say yourself is worth reading, why should I?
