Under no circumstances should an associate/assistant be paid more than a doctor

Hey @gmcuk, @wesstreeting , @NHSE_WTE Why is it I, as a fully qualified doctor, get paid less than a PA - yet I have more responsibility, more training, more skills and can prescribe? Oh, and I also work on calls.

Or a resident doctor

Each of above has a far broader skillset and knowledge base than a PA

@ActAsOneBDC Please could you remove this poster. This is misleading to both the public and healthcare staff. A deliberate obfuscation of the word ‘Physician’ is evident. This will only lead to further harm.
‘Physician’ is a protected title as per the Medical Act 1983.

@gmcuk Why not invest in the actual workforce you already have? With competition ratios at their highest, we have the doctors but not the training positions. The 4 year degree makes a mockery of the profession and opens the door for negligence and future liability.
