Floorplans for daycares are normally fit into the space available with many compromises - not so for the QDA expansion! Each room has direct access to the fenced playground area, via doors with lites. No hallways to navigate, no tracking mud inside - and bonus natural light.

In 2022 we started a design/build project to construct a large addition onto a daycare facility in Liverpool, NS for Queens Day Care Association. Once complete, with a full renovation to the existing space, there will be 107 child care spaces available - up from 42 existing.

Our goal was to produce a world-class child care facility within the budget, with low maintenance and operating costs - as we close in on the final phase of the project we think we have achieved that goal.

There isn't much a corporation can do to fight a wildfire, but we are giving paid time off to our volunteer firefighter staff to enable them to fight it. @halifax pls keep them safe!
