Brookwood: Pocket Tactics is a new #homebrew game for the #Gameboy Color, and the first #tactics game for the system. Play as one of four animal factions in this Islamic-inspired medieval setting. Pre-orders open now #indiedev#indiegame https://t.co/Sb9x5O1kDk
Not sure when to call my tileset done. Been chipping away at it for a while now, but I keep coming up with new things I want in it. Haven't even made a map with it yet, maybe I should...
My day job is a #toxicworkplace: I truly unplugged and took a well deserved break, easily the best break of my life. Then I come back today and have a novel-long email about how unprofessional it is that I didn't respond to emails or Teams messages over my break 🙃 🤷♂️
Recently discovered an incredible engine for #retrogamedev that can compile ROMs for three platforms! Check out the Scorpion Engine to make games for the Amiga, Genesis/MegaDrive, or Neo Geo. I think it'll be my next tool
The tactics game Brookwood was always about medieval animals in a Fire Emblem-like setting. But after reading a tweet by @osamadorias about how he never gets to play as characters named Osama, I pivoted the game to include Sultan Osama (pictured here).
Anyways, you can buy a GBC cart of Brookwood: Pocket Tactics here. Or look the game up on itch to play it in your browser.

Sadly my day job got in the way of finishing this game for the Spooktober Game Jam (maybe next year), so instead I'm trying to finish it for the Monstrous Desires game jam instead (which has a later due date). #indiedev#visualnovel#NDS
Week 5ish
Better late than never, but finally have a demo of the game built in-engine! Surprise, it's going to be an NDS game (got a working ROM file of the visual novel so far)!
Week 2: I should be halfway done with my neon gothic Visual Novel, since the Spooktober Game Jam runs until the end of the month. Got a lot of the story written (main branch is done), as well as some art too. No game engine stuff yet #indiedev#visualnovel
One week down on the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam. Lots of false starts and scrapping of everything. But now I'm settled on my neon gothic story. Here's the one asset that is finished: the main character #Visualnovel#indiedev
I've been quiet for a while, but taking a break from my current project to take part in the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam this year! #vnlink https://t.co/3YFOuBLp8V
Arco has +150 reviews, 98% being positive ✨
Sadly, we are struggling to make people notice about the game itself, being considered already as a "hidden gem"💎
Our gameplay trailer shows how Arco works, and hopefully it will catch your eye 👀
A RT will help us A LOT🙏
