3A visited Gallery Oldham this week where we were reunited with our Willowpark friends. We had great fun drawing portraits, making friendship banners and exploring the exhibitions. We can't wait to see our Willowpark friends again soon!
😊 Small moments in school make the difference 😊
Did you know? Missing just 2 days a month means a child misses 10% of the school year. 📈 Let's make every little moment count this term! #SchoolAttendance#Care#Aspire#Perservere
3A visited Castleshaw, where they met their linking class from Willowpark for the first time.
The children enjoyed developing their navigation skills, completing identifying & classifying activities & feeding the centre's own goats! 3A cannot wait to meet Willowpark again soon.

Year 4 Archery Competition:
Well done to the Year 4 team of archers who attended @HathershawC on Tuesday evening to compete against seven other schools. A special mention goes to Tazeem for fantastic improvement when practicing a new sport and shooting several bullseyes!
We had a wonderful reading session in Year 1 with lots of parents joining us. We enjoyed a shared reading session and then parents and children shared stories together.
Well done everyone!

Year 3 visited Tatton Park where they were shown the daily life of early humans. We honed our farming skills, handled stone age tools & weapons, created simple shelters and explored how fire was made. A great day was had and teachers were very impressed!
What a lovely morning our children had with @ProfBrianCox, learning about our solar system! The visit, supported by #GreatHorizons initiative, was a once in a lifetime experience that really inspired us all.
We loved it so much, we were inspired to do our own science activities!
Some of our Year 3 children took part in the Linking Project Celebration Event at @galleryoldham yesterday, where we shared our learning with the Mayor and Mayoress of Oldham, alongside Oldham Councillors.
