Been on this side the whole time. The potential to have a 6’5 LB running 4.3 would be a fun pick for sure and I could easily talk myself into it, but I really don’t see why he’s so highly regarded with that tape
@DanSchneierNFL Please man. We watched Russell Wilson throw the ball out of the back of the endzone countless times the first couple of weeks in this same situation. He never converted. Points are gonna be hard to come by with Dart out. Taking the points was 100% the right move
@DanSchneierNFL Not really. Misdirection run got him to do that. Play it slow and look at where Robinson starts. Looks like it’s coming Dex’s left so he locks out and you can see him peak that way. As he’s looking Robinson cuts back and Dex doesn’t see it. Bad play? I guess. Not a lack of effort
@DanSchneierNFL@JordanRaanan The slow release is ultimately what got Surtain to sit how he did. Only gripe is he should’ve left his head down in a full sprint until he fully cleared Surtain. Looking back a tick early was the difference, not the release
Tells you everything you need to know about those 3 games with Russ. Totally different team with a guy that can execute what Daboll and Kafka want to run
That visual of Daboll checking into the medical tent was validated after watching that third-down play by Wilson. Can't rush the concussion check process though.
@TruthBearer22 No it truly doesn’t. Russ was check down or throw it deep. The cowboys defense sucks so that just happened to work that game. You can’t consistently expect to win by just hitting deep shots while behind the sticks. There was 0 intermediate passing
Tyrone Tracy in the game for the first time since his shoulder injury against the Chiefs. Turns into lead blocker on a shovel pass to Wan'Dale Robinson that went for no gain.
@BobbySkinner_ Giants scored on their first 2 possessions. Slayton dropped a deep ball. Next possession missed a TD on a flea flicker. The next 3 possessions they’re driving and fumble 3 times. This could’ve been an easy W if players executed
Yet we’re on here again crying about coaches
It’s not that deep man. They moved the ball well for it to be ended by 3 fumbles, a missed flea flicker, and the possession where Singletary dropped the ball on first down.
Players lost this one
