“May Trump be destroyed. May he drown in the blood of these children…”
A highlight of my recent interview with BBC Newshour in the wake of their latest ground reporting from Iran on the US strike against an elementary school during the opening hours of the war. The strike killed nearly two hundred civilians—most of them young children. Meanwhile, Pete Hegseth's Pentagon and the Trump administration continue to evade accountability.
What led to this atrocity? Was it preventable? Why does there continue to be zero accountability… and what would accountability even look like?

The strike killed nearly two hundred civilians—most of them young children. Meanwhile, Pete Hegseth's Pentagon and the Trump administration continue to evade accountability.
What led to this atrocity? Was it preventable or a simple case of "fog of war"? And why does there continue to be zero accountability?

“Precision” can mean a lot of things. In Israel’s wars, it most often means — quite simply — more precise targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
I assisted New Lines in this excellent and detailed field investigation comparing five different Israeli strikes that took place across Beirut in March and April.

"It’s imperative… to speak out and become a voice for the voiceless.”
I joined the Electronic Intifada podcast with friend and colleague Dr. Mimi Syed for an in-depth talk on our new report exposing Israel’s use of sniper-equipped quadcopters to shoot and kill children in Gaza.
Our findings, based on eye witness accounts and evidence gained first hand, were included in the recent UN report documenting Israel’s crimes against children in Gaza.

I provided insight to @theintercept on their most recent reporting detailing the systemic disregard for civilian lives under the Trump-Hegseth regime and the very reasons we are seeing such horrific incidents unfold as the Minab school strike.

In a powerful new documentary, I speak to the truth behind the Minab school bombing.
I assisted @SkyNews in their months long on-the-ground investigation into the U.S. bombing of a primary school on the first day of the Iran War — in which 156 people were killed, including 120 children and 26 of their teachers.
—
With the first journalist from a major western news organization on the ground in Minab, the Sky News team speaks to survivors, bereaved parents, and emergency workers while painstakingly reconstructing the attack and interviewing US military whistleblowers who make startling claims about what was behind the tragedy.

My latest commentary for the @guardian in their investigation into Israel’s reckless use of AI surveillance systems in Gaza and Lebanon—turning swathes of the civilian population into “targets.”

In June, three experts published a research report on Israel's precise and lethal use of quadcopter drones mounted with sniper rifles to fire on Palestinian children, documenting a disturbing pattern — multiple cases of well-targeted, single-round shots against children in Gaza fired from Israeli quadcopters.
Watch as emergency medicine physician Mimi Syed, who served for months in hospitals in Gaza, Wes J. Bryant, former senior targeting and precision warfare advisor and policy analyst at the Defense Department, and Charles Blaha, DAWN senior advisor and former State Department official, explain more about their research.
A week after their research was published, the UN issued a report concluding that Israel is committing genocide in the Occupied Palestinian Territory by deliberately targeting children.

“In two decades of ground and air warfare by the United States and its allies in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan, Reuters could find no examples of damage to cultural heritage sites listed at the time by UNESCO.”
I assisted @Reuters in their on-the-ground investigation into U.S. and Israeli strikes against internationally protected cultural sites in Iran. Another outplay of the swift devolution of U.S. military standards and practices under the fascism and recklessness of Hegseth and the Trump administration.

“He said strikes in Iran that had killed thousands of civilians were a sign of the rising ‘aggregate harm’ that the US was willing to accept.”
My interview to the @guardian on the Iran war, the dangerous shift of the use and purpose of the U.S. military under Trump and Hegseth, and the administration’s ongoing attempts at cover up of the Minab school strike.

“… a pattern of highly precise and troubling applications of lethal force utilizing small tactical ‘sniper’ drones against children.”
I am proud and humbled to have teamed with two esteemed friends and colleagues for this vital research examining Israel’s use of quadcopter drones against Palestinian civilians in Gaza—including children.
Our report, compiled from evidence and data gained firsthand on the ground in Gaza, has been published in Brown University’s @CostsOfWar journal. Read the full report here: https://t.co/WMMcBP0Tig

The Israeli military's use of small tactical drones in Gaza has not reduced civilian harm but has intensified it, according to our latest research, with recommendations for the U.S. as a leader in global drone technologies. https://t.co/oZ2TbCLeUb
“Within minutes of a strike on a school full of children… Pentagon officials knew that the U.S. military was responsible.”
I spoke to @nytimes on the recklessness of the U.S. strike against an elementary school in Iran during the opening hours of the war—and the shameful lack of accountability for this tragedy or anything else under Hegseth.

The most recent wave of U.S. strikes against Iran destroyed a remote water facility and key reservoir for 20,000 Iranian civilians in the midst of a severe drought and water crisis.
It is the latest outplay of this regime’s utter disregard for the lives of the innocent and the swift erosion of the culture and conduct of the U.S. military under Pete Hegseth.
Hostilities against Iran must end. Trump and Hegseth must be impeached, removed, and tried. Senior military leadership must be held to account.

“And I’d say right now, for America—there is something truly wrong with America’s soul.”
I joined @SkyNews for a special on the Iran War to discuss the tragic U.S. strike against an elementary school in Minab and continued lack of accountability from both senior military leadership and the Trump administration.
Let us not accept the normalization of the fascist and dictatorial takeover of our nation, our government, and the very military that should exist solely to defend the sacred American values that this administration, and its adherents, trample upon.

"As a president, if you're not completely heartbroken by this tragedy... there's simply something wrong with your soul."
Former Pentagon chief of civilian harm assessment Wes J. Bryant discusses the investigation into an alleged U.S. airstrike on an Iranian school, which killed more than 100 women and children.

As the despots who have seized our nation continue to refuse accountability and propagate lies in their ceaseless thirst for domination and power—those of us who do not fear them will continue to speak the truth. Especially when the lives of the innocent are at stake.
