I feel like taking the first vertically really helped the feel you were going for, especially with the editing done to it. Great decision to make the second one black and white as it brings out more of the senses of texture.

The straight on style of the photo itself compliments the shadow of the bench as it appears curved on the ground. I liked this aspect of the photo as well as your choice to not include the shadow of the fencing.

I think the way that you had the shadow continue the form of the tree, as you cut off the top of the tree itself, was a very nice and creative idea for this project.
