His resurrection is one of the most contrived, poorly written and stakes-destroying examples in fiction.

But I’m still glad they did it, cause I really like his character afterwards.

@ShippingArchit1 @readstarwars I think you can meaningfully explore the psyche of even the most tortured individuals. It’s not actually possible to beat someone’s individuality out of them completely. There’s still interesting stuff to explore with a character who’s been through all of that.

@marauder_matt I agree, but I also like the idea that the dark side IS naturally occurring, not a “perversion”. In the same way that violence and destruction occur in nature, and the way that fear and rage occur within human hearts.
There will always be darkness, but it still must be contained.
