America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.
The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.
I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.
Presenters from football, boxing, F1, basketball, Sky Sports News and horse racing are among those who are sharing their own experiences to highlight the extent of this abuse on digital and social sites and the damage it can cause.
#HateWontStopUs
"It's not ok to say some of the things that people say on social media. It has to stop."
This is the message from Sky Sports presenters and reporters, who have united in supporting a new campaign aimed at raising awareness of online hate and abuse on social media.
I've heard of several examples where the cause of death was clearly cancer, but registered as Coronavirus.
How much is this happening? A single doctor’s signature with no real patient contact or positive test is enough.
It's not an accurate way to record deaths.
There are moments in our history so grim, so heart-rending, that they're forever fixed in each of our hearts as shared grief. Today is one of those moments. 100,000 lives have now been lost to this virus.
To those hurting, I'm so sorry for your loss. The nation grieves with you.
Thanks for all your kind comments about our #BBCBreakfast interviews this morning. It is possible to challenge politicians & and ask difficult questions without...
Shouting
Interrupting
Telling everyone you’re brilliant at holding them to account
Thanks for watching.
Morning rant! Yes am sure our Gov’t have made mistakes, as have many others. But sitting in studios/ behind keyboards pointing them out is not hard. Similar to fans pointing out player’s mistakes during games. All so easy when the pressure is not on you. Maybe try to help instead
When @captaintommoore appeared on @GMB yesterday morning, he'd raised £350k for @NHSCharities.
We urged viewers to get him to £500k, then 1m.
He's now at £2.3m.
Absolutely staggering.
Congrats again Captain Tom, &
thanks to all our viewers who donated. Makes the heart swell.
This extraordinary man @captaintommoore has single-handedly galvanised Britain into raising cash for NHS heroes.
He's got to £1.2 million already (Thanks @GMB
viewers!) - but we can help him get much higher.
If you haven't donated yet, please do here >> https://t.co/0QCvLQMgZz
