Each week I'll tweet out the latest poem. If you aren't interested, feel free to mute this tweet as everything will be replies to it.
I'll include the poem in an image, a link to soundcloud, and one to medium if you want to read about the poem.
hi! we're the makers of 1000xRESIST, and we have... something special coming up soon ๐
โจ triple-i showcase on April 9

see you there, sisters ๐
Learning OpenGL and I forgot how finicky graphics programming can be. Forgot to stash my shader program ID and didn't even generate OGL errors when I tried to use it... that took a while to track down.
Broke down and subbed to crunchyroll because of Frieren and god there is so much good anime this season. Everyone who likes RomComs should be watching You and I are Polar Opposites, and if you just like great characters watch Journal with Witch.
I have to admit, Youtube's recap for me was surprisingly neat. At the end put me as something like working on the epic score for my own game. Though I spent more time watching videos about music construction with DAWs than I realized.
Wanted to shout out Godotfest's youtube channel, has a bunch (maybe all already not positive) of talks from the recent conference and the ones I've watched so far like Superpower, the Starfinder team's talk, and Jetbrains are all great material.

Oh neat, Owlcat worked with some other studios to list resources to help newbies start learning various parts of gamedev. love to see it.

@TylerGlaiel I often wonder how often people making these excuses are rolling all the c++/fortran/rust/etc that does the real work in a lot of python libraries as being "python"
@themovercell My single most hated phrase in all developer conversations, it has turned into such a bad excuse. Taking even an hour to consider algo/data structure options based on use cases can do so much for performance without being micro optimizations.
So happy to see another Godot release, and the added screen reader support is a huge deal, especially for people who want to make apps instead of games with Godot. Glad to see the effort put in on this front.
#GodotEngine 4.5 has finally arrived! ๐
With this new release, we made meticulous efforts in order to amplify what is possible to do with our engine, guided by our goal of making gaming and game development for everyone!

@wmgamble@TheOtherFrost Shouldn't need to farm silk you get a bunch from your corpse. Though if you bother killing enemies you can double dip but then you've avoiding breaking your corpse which is annoying
Fragrant Flower finally released outside South East Asia... but only the first two episodes. Even Witch Watch is only 3 weeks behind on the dubs so I was hoping more would get released on opening day :(
I see Team Cherry still loves to do large areas where it is hard to find a bench or the map maker. Ugh this zone sucks, doubly so with the runback after.
God I really wish metroidvanias would stop doing a certain trope, it is ass every time they do it and Silksong doesn't make it any better and frankly made it worse than usual ugh.
Early thoughts for me on Silksong after getting my second RB option... it is fine?
Solid core, lots of little stuff that sort of bugs me (and some bigger things like I hate pogoing with the new down attack). Curious if my opinion changes as I get deeper in.
