During this last week of school look out for the box outside of door one to drop off spiritwear and concert outfits students have outgrown this year.
This collection will allow us to upcycle items your family is no longer using and share with others.

The 4th graders loved hearing author Terry Catasus Jennings read her book The Little House of Hope and hear her story about coming to America as an immigrant.
Get ready for BINGO tonight Friday, March 17th @WestgateElem . The doors open at 6pm and the first game starts at 6:30pm sharp! Not only are there BINGO prizes but some great raffle prizes as well!
Today the 4th graders learned all about the process of creating a graphic novel and how creativity and kindness are superpowers. We also heard the first chapter of the awesome new book Super Pancake from the author herself Megan Wagner Lloyd!
Today the 4th graders learned so much from the 5th graders who presented their GATP projects comparing the ancient and modern world. The 5th graders did an amazing job and we had so much fun listening!
As a reminder, schools are dismissing two hours early today. Dismissal will be at 1:30pm. Additionally, there is no school for students tomorrow, March 3rd.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25th, is the last day of the quarter and a two-hour early release for students. Also, schools are closed for students on Thursday, January 26th, for a Staff Development Day and Friday, January 27th, for a Teacher Work Day.

4th graders worked on their teamwork and communication skills last week when they tried to stack cups into a pyramid using only pieces of string tied to a rubber band!
