I try not to rant too crazy on here but the way people like to ignore that women face forms of oppression specifically as a result of their biological reality like menstruation pregnancy vulnerability to male violence etc does make me feel insane
Men will NEVER let a safe society exist. It's against their benefit. One thing I need people to understand is that violence has BENEFITS. Everything that men have was made possible with murder, rape, mutilation and imprisonment of women and girls. They are never letting that go
Collapsing of abortion rights into a generalized "bodily anatomy issue" is one of the most evil, insidious things trans people have done to women.
Women's reproductive systems are policed bc ppl want to punish and control the FEMALE SEX. Not because they hate "bodily autonomy"
"periods, capacity for childbirth, uterus" things we came into the world naturally with that patriarchy did not design/invent are a "reduction"
But the things men/patriarchy did invent-make-up, social roles, feminine dress, standards for feminine behavior- those things are okay?
This older lady came up to me to compliment my body then goes “enjoy having a body like that in your 20s bc it goes downhill after that” I was like I’m 32, mama. Lol she was as gagged

if women are not oppressed why does anti-abortion laws, child marriage, female infanticide, the wage-gap between men and women, femicide, higher cases of domestic violence against women, FGM, etc. exist?
I remember this middle eastern gay guy saying that it was much easier for him to go and have sex with some man that it was for his sister to go to the cinema with her friends
You notice how when there's a discussion on who has it worse men or women it's always either black men vs white women or gay men vs straight women? Because if we compare men and women in the same category it becomes too fucking obvious.
Before I am anything, I am first a woman. When men harass me, they don’t do it because I’m Christian or Igbo. When they rape me, they do it because I am a woman. When they catcall me, it’s because I am a woman. So I place my feminism above any religion, tribe, or other identity.
