Weston Infant and Weston Junior Academies form the Weston Federation and are situated in Weston Coyney. Both schools are proud members of the St Bart's MAT.

Pupils of Weston Infant and Junior Academies were invited to take part in a local Peace Dove Project led by the local churches. Pupils made their own individual origami doves and were encouraged to reflect on their hopes for peace in the world:

Yesterday 4 of our Weston children took part in the St Bart's SEND Olympics. They had a fabulous time! Well done for representing our Federation so well!

Last week the Nursery linked their learning to how to make safe spaces for hedgehogs as part of hedgehog awareness week.

Well done to Poppy and Tallulah who have been specially selected to join the English Youth Ballet and will be performing at the Regent Theatre, in a dazzling production of Sleeping Beauty on 12th and 13th April 2024. We are very proud of their achievements!

The children in I3 have been having a fabulous time with Mr Steele carrying out Forest Schools activities. The children were so pleased to see him this afternoon that they gave him a big cheer when he walked in!

Thank you to the Ward Councillors Ross Irving and Craig Beardmore for supporting Weston Junior Academy to purchase our new parking buddies. We are thankful for their support and will look at carrying out some fundraising to purchase some more parking buddies for the Infant site.

The children at Weston Juniors really enjoyed the visit from the Air Ambulance this week. They will be visiting the Infant site on Monday. We have recently donated some of our old IT equipment to the Air Ambulance to see if it can help to raise some money for them.

I was delighted to collect our new school minibus with Miss Brannan yesterday from @CVMWorld. This enables us to continue to take the children on educational visits and to continue with our shuttle bus service between our two school sites. We now need a nickname for the new bus!
