The Lakota West Track program showed very well at the Winton Woods District. The boys track team finished 3rd overall scoring 115 points. The girls finished 5th scoring 52.33 points. On to the Dayton Regional at Wayne High School.

Top performers for the Girls at GMC was Annika Kinley-HJ and Kate Telles-PV we’re both 4th. Danielle Turner-100m, Grace Hicks-PV, and the 4x400 Relay team of Prempeh, Riesenberg, Motolik and Stewart finished 5th.

A lot of great performances by the Firebirds at the GMC Track Championships. Boys finished 3rd overall and the girls finished 5th. Steven Faucheux was voted the Male Field Event Athlete of the year in the GMC. Cedric Thomas and Ben Dangel were both GMC Champions.

Started the day off right with my middle son, Jordan DuVall Jones, and I exercising our right to vote! As my dad did with me when I turned 18, I think this is an important right that we need to continue to pass on to our offspring!
