It all comes down to the trading of certificates called REGO’s that allow suppliers to call their energy ‘green’ for as little as £1 per household. Unfortunately the market is about as clear as mud 😢 #REGO

@ThankTimes @WeAreTOTO Hmm, not quite sure how you came to that conclusion. We are saying that where other firms claim to vet suppliers (and don't), we do (as best as possible), and are able to because we are impartial. Are you suggesting impartiality has no benefit in switching?

@Elkers No problem Nikki, its a rare example of where government policy is actually overdelivering (in the creation of renewable energy). Currently the difference in price is less than £2 for an average household for an entire year! Unfortunately, it's a flaw in the way the market works.

@jago4321 @CitizensAdvice We have no connection to CA, but we are all for services that actually work for the consumer so we want to draw attention to their site even if we don’t stand to gain anything from it. It’s natural to be weary of us, but we can only try and do what we believe is right. ✌️
