The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is a public relations organization with chapters across the world. The Central California Chapter is emerging from the pandemic and returning to in-person programming and events.

Introducing the PRSA Team! 🎉 Andrew, Daisy, Cedric, and Carolina are helping PRSA with promotion on social media platforms and updating the organization’s website. The team is also creating content to assist with recruitment across its digital platforms for younger PR pros.

The TALK team has partnered with Ranger Scott to revise and revitalize the Yosemite National Park's “Keep Bears Wild” campaign. Three main areas of focus for the campaign included educating publics about vigilant driving, food storage, and safe distancing. 🐻

Heidi, Mason, Gizelle, and Emily were tasked with refreshing the Keep Bears Wild campaign from a visual perspective and strengthening its digital presence.

Fresno State AD/PR Professor Betsy Hays will be creating a podcast that seeks to tell the Central Valley’s history and contributions to the advertising and public relations industry with special guests featured throughout the series.

Andrew, Jessica and Victoria assisted Josie with brand outreach and growing her online audience. Josie offers services such as classes and one-on-one sessions through Zoom.

The summit is a unique collaboration between colleges of agriculture, business, and engineering (ABE) to develop a day-long event that fosters collaboration amongst students, faculty and staff and encourages an entrepreneurial mindset.

Introducing the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit Team! Marina, Rylie, Destin, and Leo assisted the summit with event set-up, promotion and facilitation. Held on April 27, 2023, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit is the first of its kind at Fresno State.

Overall, the event saw over 50 guests in attendance, and it provided students with lasting advice and connections.

Introducing the TASTE Team! 🎉Jiselle, Josue, Jazmin, Carli, and Taylor led this year's TASTE (Take A Student To Eat) event. This year’s TASTE was the first in-person edition since the pandemic, and students saw an opportunity to re-envision the event.

For the first time, TASTE was held in the evening at the Smittcamp Alumni House. Keynote speaker Amber Lynn Carroll spoke on the importance of balancing a career with mental wellness followed by a Q&A.

TALK was initiated by four Fresno State students, Tori, Amanda, Lia, and Kacie. TALK is a MCJ course modeled as a student-led agency. Students work in teams to consult with real-world organizations creating advertising campaigns and public relations solutions for clients.

Introducing the TALK team!🎉Sam and Lucca helped rebrand TALK, creating a new website, revising its handbook, updating its logo, and creating a new aesthetic for its social media platforms. One of the rebrand project’s main objectives was to highlight the agency’s unique origins.
