Winter is in the air - which means ODR season is here!

Thank you to everyone who showed at lunch to clear rinks. Nice to see community respond. Both rinks fully cleared and had over ten kids playing when I left. shout-out to “Hammer” and Aaron for extra work and 7 high school kids who showed up. Lauren B from John mcrae was all star

Buses have been cancelled. HS exams have been pushed back a day. Perfect time to get those volunteer hrs so why not pick up a shovel and meet the Weybridge ODR crew at noon today.

Both rinks in great shape for a weekend of skating or hockey. One reservation 5pm tngt on main rink but rest of weekend is open. Shack open on weekends from 10am to 9pm.

Both rinks in great shape after multiple floods last night and this morning. Put on your warmest clothes and come out for a skate this week.

Last night we had U9A Nepean Raiders Team White on ice. They had a great practice/scrimmage. The crew was out after to scrape and flood the ice. Ice is in great shape and temperature is perfect so hope to continue to see big crowds this week. No reservations till Sunday morning.

The rink is in best shape it’s been in all season. This is 15th day of hockey/skating while many rinks just opening. Special thanks to Jon G, Aron B, Danny G, Bill B, Mike H and Andrew for hard work. Last night we had over 40 sparks/girl guides brave the cold temperatures skate.

Ice is in good shape on both rinks after floods last night. Reminder that the schools have priority of rink from 9-3:30 during the week. Mary Honeywell has Mon/Wed and @EASetonOCSB has Tues/Thurs with rotating Friday’s. The U15A NGHA wildcats have ice reserved from 6-7 tngt.

A packed house last night for Christmas Eve!! 3 teams of 7 skaters each played till 11. All local high school kids having a great time and they all thanked the Weybridge odr team for keeping the ice in great shape.

It’s a bit brisk out today but don’t worry the shack is open from 10am to 8pm. Both rinks open today but no hockey on puddle rink. Get out early as this time of year the rink has more holes than James Frey story by end of day.
